From jct I-10 (exit 731) & FM 1489: Go 1 block N on Hwy 1489, then 1 block W on Cooper Rd.
We stayed at the park in the fall of 2023. It is a nice park with level spots and lots of room for our 33 foot trailer. It's expensive, but less than some parks in the area. Very nice shower rooms and laundry facilities. The park is very well kept. I would have given five stars, but for the high price.
I recently stayed at this Rv park , and it was a delightful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. The clean laundromat was a definite plus, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. This campground is also really close to Katy in case you need to go shopping. ☺️
If you travel with dogs, like I do, this place is awesome. In all the years of staying in RV Parks, this is the only place I've ever used a fenced area to turn my dogs loose. It's a really large fenced area where my my dogs could run. They keep it very clean! No piles of dog poop laying around. The bath houses are also great and very clean. The people who own/manage the park are super nice and very helpful. And, there is mobile rv technician that lives on site. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.
We stayed at Houston West for almost 6 months and really enjoyed it. It's not far from the stores or gas stations and only 10 minutes or so from Katy, which has great shopping and restaurants. The people in the office were always kind, and any issues we had they helped with. The bathrooms and laundry rooms were always clean. The campground was always clean/well kept as well. The pool and hot tub were great too. I'd recommend them to anyone! Hopefully we will be in the area and able to stay again!
We only stayed overnight, so can't say a whole lot. Management was very friendly and helpful, park was clean and well layed out. Garbage pickup in the morning. Little bit of highway noise but not too bad. Good place to pull up and sleep before fighting Houston traffic. I'm 45 feet,plus 20 with trailer,pull through spots long enough. Easy in easy out. Safe travels.
