Always a great place to picnic, fish, or campout year around. Today my son and I drove out for the afternoon from Beaumont. We caught a few fish and enjoyed the surroundings.
I love staying here but the mosquito population has gotten out of hand. You can’t even go outside and BBQ or walk to even the office without 50 plus mosquito bites. Everything else about the place is a 10 in my book the location is great , we love to try to walk to the pier , the gator is very much in the pond ( 2 in-fact ) they don’t bother anyone , the laundry house is very well kept and clean along with the showers .
If the mosquitoes were gone I could spend the rest of my days here lol.
No pull through but we'll worth the unhook. Local pond Gator, turtles, frogs. Secluded.
It is OK. The layout is nice, roomy, and clean.
Just seems like a lot of long term residents and parked trailers. Only 3 spots open when I arrived. The boardwalk is great.
Someone said there is a Gator in the pond. I never saw it.
