From east jct Loop I-610 & I-10: Go 10 mi E on I-10 (exit 787), then 1/2 mi N on Main St (Crosby-Lynchburg Rd).
Houston Leisure has new owners who have completely transformed the park. Spacious, quiet, shaded sites. The office girls are friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. If you haven’t stayed here lately, come and tour the park again. It’s a very nice campground for a very good price.
I really give it NO stars but that’s not an option, this place was dirty unprofessional, the pictures of this place are fake at lest at the Highlands location. Kelly Cook needs to be removed from management. Got my money back and got out of there! Pictures of the bathrooms bellow
I loved my visit at Houston leisure. I also loved the fact that the girls were chatting and out not allow me to talk. I love the fact that there is no water. This is a grate place to stay at. The rooms were about $1,000 a night. Next time I get a business trip I am going to bring some co-works along
We have lived here for a little over a year. The place was decent when we moved in. It has slowly but surely gone done hill. The manager is lazy and worthless. She sits on her duff and watches TV all day. She does not do any rounds to make sure people are following the rules. The washer and dryers are always broken. The 2nd set of restrooms has never been completed from a restoration. The lawns are never appropriately cut, never weed whacked around sites. Pool is disgusting. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The new owner is worthless, pocketing the money instead of investing in his own investment. There have been 0 improvements since our rate increase. People here just don't care about anything and it shows. It's basically a lawless RV Resort with no rules enforced. There is also no security patrol either. Gate was broke for about 2 weeks before we left.
If you own or renting an RV, this place is great, it has that out in the woods nature feel, but with the amenities city culture, laundry mat, kids play ground, his&her showers,wifi, waste management, propane & convenient store on ground plus your standards electric, water. It's so quiet & peaceful.
