Pure magic. A variety of plants and secret secluded pools and beaches. Bring your snorkel gear and be prepared for rapidly changing weather, but it is so worth it. Water is availble but must be filtered. Follow the white markers all the way to the end for a secret beach.

This is a good hike to an out of the way beach and campsite. It is s wonderful place for a 3+ day beach camping trip. The hike is 11.3 miles mostly across lava fields. It offers good views along the coastline. There are pit toilets at the campsites and small catchment systems to restock your water supplybut bring a filter as there is no filtration on the catchment. There are ample coconuts for the taking at the campsites.

My absolute favorite place to visit in HVNP. Such a beautiful and pristine beach. Outhouse even has a great view and since it is a moldering privy no smell either!! Just need to make sure there is water in the rain barrel before you go.... Also, when you are there make sure to visit Halape Iki beach. Great snorkeling and spear fishing opportunities there as well.
