At camp Mokulē'ia, I'd sit on the seawall for hours on end. Feeling the Pacific breeze gently wash across my face, while watching the waves do the same to the sand. With clouds so full they pop, and reefs glittering with color I did not think possible in the ocean. In these hours, I'm only reminded of the ubiquitousness of daily life by the occasional skydiver's shadow falling across the bay from the sky, and the ring of the bell that signifies breakfast, lunch and dinner at the gorgeous cafeteria.
The best campsite during our 2 weeks holiday in Hawaii. Hot showers, quiet and safe.
We have our family reunion there in December 2012 till January 2013. It is by far the best you can have out of the 3 campsite that I review. The beach is quiet and the ocean view is magnificent. Great grand kids have fun playing with the sand. The lodge is big enough for 20-30 people gathering. Libby the chef took good care of our meals. We shall come back another time
A magical, and wonderful place to have retreats. Don't expect everything to be brand new and top notch but full of heart, Love and peace.
Beautiful and quiet campground. Staff is very friendly, bathrooms are nice, each campsite has its own little washstand (sink and shower). I saw several turtles right in front of my campsite! I came alone and felt very safe. I would come again.
