Salt Pond Beach Park

If I had more time to spend in Kauai, and of all the beaches I looked at, this was my favorite and I would really choose this one to spend the day. There's a natural pool area from a rock bed separating part of the beach that kids and older folks can safely, and warmly, enjoy themselves in, and there was a gazebo picnic area for family events. I saw a windsurfer there as well. And chickens, of course.

Salt Pond Beach Park is a hidden gem! The tranquil atmosphere, clear waters, and soft sandy shore make it perfect for relaxation. Snorkeling and picnicking opportunities abound. A must-visit spot for nature lovers seeking a serene escape. 🏖️🌊😍

Great beach. protected by being a little cove so the waves aren't as fierce. Good place to snorkel. Bathrooms available and great beach with wheelchair accessibility. There is a lifeguard on duty as well.

Very pretty large beach! Soft waves. Great for snorkeling. Mostly sand- very few rocks. Good space not too crowded. Saw a bunch of fish while snorkeling
