Beautiful waves and the water stays about waste deep for a good while. Beautiful sand and places with natural shade not far from the water. Bathrooms were okay, a little run down, but they were standard for island beach bathrooms.
Great beach, you must be military to access this beach. We love the soft sand and waves. I would like to stay here when I'm on the island, but reservations are hard to obtain.
Beautiful place in Waimanalo. Camp sites, cabins, air conditioned condos, a gas station and shoppette. Pau Hana Pub and Turtle Cove Shoppe. Friendly people and great service. A hidden gem! Make reservations way in advance for the condos.
Bellows Field Beach Park is a beautifully maintained beach. It is very clean and well kept. The sand is soft. The ocean is amazing in this side. There was a good balance of waves for boogie boarding. The bathrooms were nice to change in. This is a hidden gem!! We stayed here the first time we came Oahu 33 years ago. It was even better than I remembered. This is my favorite beach on Oahu.
Great spot to take wedding photos! Beautiful clear blue water and a great mountain view. If you go down the road more you can access the military side. Not much is different except there's a bar and grill. Peacocks can be seen driving down the road to Bellows :)
