The good:

- located in a mostly dry area of Maui

- bathrooms are very clean

- complimentary local fruits and coffee at 7.30am

The bad

- watch out for thieves; the surveillance cameras are just for show and don’t work

- if you’re tenting, don’t expect much sleep. the roosters are a pest on the entire island so it’s not technically a fault of the campground but they will wake you up at 4am; i tried earplugs with minimal success - i recommend noise cancellation headphones if you’re sensitive

- there are only 4 power sockets on the entire premises to cover 30ish tent sites and who knows how many bungalows; most of the time the power sockets are occupied by teens who are glued to their phones while charging them. I’d say a power bank is essential but again beware of thieves who will steal it from you

- the showers are inside cubicles for privacy but no roof so technically outside showers; the hot water is a hit or miss, sometimes you’re lucky, sometimes you’re not

- there is a general store across the street from the campground but you’re separated from it by a highway with no crosswalk; attempt to cross at your peril

This campsite is tucked away in the middle of a busy town. All staff members we encountered were welcoming and kind. We made reservations online, in advanced. We saw people get turned away for not having reservations. They have several camping options available. We had a rooftop camper and parked in the area with other vehicle campers. The campsites are well maintained and numbered based on reservation. Each has a picnic table and a grassy area to sit/lay out. There is mulch on the ground under the camper. The campground featured several hot showers as well as, bathrooms with mirrors, sinks, toilets and toilet paper. We never had to wait very long to use either one. You have access to a small beach as well as areas to play games and hangout. Although each campsite is spacious, this place get busy and loud on the weekends. We heard people outside partying late into the night. Although it disconnected from time to time, the WiFi at this campground was decent too.

Easy to find the location. Very clean bathrooms and amazing private outdoor showers. The car pop up tents are fairly close together, and there are no hookups. You can buy ice here, and wash your dishes but bring soap. Walking to the beach was lovely, and the water is calm enough for kayaking or snorkeling. Lots of families here, and glampers alike. There is WiFi and plenty of roosters and chickens to entertain. Overall a great place to stay and fairly priced for the amenities.

A welcoming and clean campground in a gorgeous landscape. We stayed three nights and enjoyed a lovely tent site close to the beach. Sites are small and sandy, bordered by small trees and containing a picnic table. Washrooms and showers are nice and clean. Roosters wake you right before dawn which was a surprise but also perfect timing to watch the sunrise from the beach. We stayed at a time when the camp was fully occupied but the other campers were friendly and quiet. Would absolutely return.
