This was our first time here. We were n premium meadows with a 43 ft fifth wheel. It was not that hard to back in but we didn’t have anyone across from us the day we arrived. We stayed 7 days. It really is a must to get a golf cart. You could get away with bringing bikes. There is so much to do here you don’t even need to go to Disney. There are pools, horseback riding, crafts, movies, rec area at pool and food trucks. A bus will take you to different parks and some resorts. You can also take the bus to a couple areas of FW.
CON: They do not post a bus schedule. Just plan on them coming about every 20 minutes,
This is a great place for people who aren’t interested in a lot of comfort and likes roughing it . Cabins have bathroom and running cold water only if want a shower you have to go to a bath house. Mattress’s are a queen size put on a very low home made wooden frame. Other than that it’s a clean camp ground with friendly people. We won’t be back but if we were 20 years younger we would for sure.
The sites were not level just gravel and dirt. Had to dig out area for my steps to sit level and thee door not stick when opening or closing the door. Had to dig out around my slide out on the camper so it was not digging into the ground. The trash dumpster was overflowing and piled on the ground. The entrance onto the driveway was a U-turn onto a narrow road that at points was only wide enough for 1 vehicle to pass at a time and one of them would have to backup or go into a private drive so the other person could get by. The campground was nothing like their website depicted it with pull thru and level sites .while I enjoyed the area and the quietest of the campground I will not be going to them again unless they do some major improvements.
Very pleasant staff but poorly maintained park for the price. No level sites, Most sites very small. Not enough amenities for the number of full time RVs. Many have tents and sheds attached to them, spilling over into other sites. Would not visit again.
We rented one of the smaller cabins and found it to be clean and comfortable and had a half bath, microwave, and fridge. The bathhouse was just across from us and it was also clean. Some reviews were negative but I was impressed with the whole park. Beautiful pool, close to many attractions, quiet, and friendly. This is where I'm going from now on. One fun surprise was a little band of chickens wandering around the park. I loved them!!!
