I have been a long term camper here. The McKenzies are Incredible people, staff are pleasant and friendly. Always willing to assist with any of our needs. Camp ground is right off of I70, conveinence store, great food. Laundry and shower facilities available as needed. Great place for families. Kid friendly. Putt putt gold, pool, walking trail available for families. Different activities available during the summer such as concerts, bull riding, goat roping, corn hole touraments.
My family and I stayed for a family reunion and while I am not as comfortable with camping as my family I had an amazing time. The grounds, pool, and shop were so clean and well run it made even a city girl feel comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and kind.
There was an issue with my RV’s hot water (it belongs to my family not the park) and I was faced with using campground bathrooms. I wake up obscenely early and the idea of being alone in a campground bathroom while it’s still dark out was horrifying. Imagine my relief and surprise when I walked in to a spotless, beautifully decorated, and comfortable space to shower.
I am so thankful for the location my family chose and unanimously we all agree it will be our reunion spot next year.
Easily located just off the highway. They were a little leery of letting me charge my Tesla off their 50 amp. After a discussion they let me stay and everything went just perfect. The facility were clean. They have a nice pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful And they have a very well stocked store, gas and other amenities. I would definitely recommend staying if you get a chance.
We had a lovely visit just one night so we didn't get to use the amenities very much but my children enjoy the playground and we were able to order a delicious veggie pizza in the office/! camp store. I was impressed with the level of care that is put into everything on site. One example is the adorable mini golf course, my daughter was in love with all the little animal statues at every hole. You can tell they maintain this area well and most of the little statues had a fresh coat of paint. The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained and I like the little covered picnic area they have adjacent to the shower house. We also appreciate it that the office and camp store are open until 8:30 p.m., we found this extremely helpful since we didn't get into after 6:00 p.m.
