Last minute trip to devils lake last wkend turned into a blast when we landed at this lil gem. I called around and this was the first place that had same day availability. The lady on the phone was super and nice and chill. The price was right to. Upon arrival we were a lil confused as the toad took us behind some homes, we could see the campground s down the road. Not gonna lie... it looked like a mess. But sometimes these lil local spots are the best. The most character! Bob checked us in. Was super nice inviting us to come back later for a wine tasting. Our campsite was a bit nasty because it rained the night before. Sandy and muddy but we rolled with it. Picnic bench looked like it was gonna hit the hay soon. It was right along a lil river which was nice. Had electric and water. A lil walk to the bathrooms but they did have an outhouse closer. Literally everyone there camping was SO SO nice. So many kids. We are kidless but brought our dog. Bottom line: amazing place for only $25 , bring quarters if you wanna shower! They have a bar and nice community vibe. Def worth checking out.
This campground is one of the best places we have been. Owners are way beyond the best people you will ever meet. And the people here are very inviting and they treat you like family. A lot of campground disregard the people traveling and working but not here. If you ever get a chance to visit baraboo Wisconsin or work here stay at this campground. You will absolutely love it. Thanks for having us.

Took 2- 10 year olds to rv camp for a few days. According to the reviews and website it looked like a great place. We got there, not a soul in sight. The place looked very run down. We got out, walked around, still no one. Office was locked, the game room was horrible. The "swimming" pond was low and filled with green globs. There is no way I'd let kids swim in that and since it was in the 90's, they had to swim. Thankfully we couldn't find anyone so we left and found another campground 3 miles down the road. Double K-D looks like it has more permanent/seasonal campers. Those units were a wreck. It could be a cool place but needs a huge amount of work.
Owner and all the people here are the sweetest! There was a weather warning while we were there, and the owner came around to everyone to inform them and ask them if they needed anything. After the storm, everyone was checking on their neighbors and helping with the clean up.
Affordable, quiet campground and the owner is very nice. During our stay, they offered tractor rides around the campground. It also has a nice area with farm animals.
