Best campground in the entire area! The people that run it and work here are the nicest and friendliest people you want to meet. Beautiful 🪵 🪵 woods.
Read online it was free, so took a spot away from everyone else for the night in our car and wasn't going to use any amenities at all except maybe a toilet. That was incorrect, all the staff had to do was tell us. However, ten minutes after parking staff came up to us and was incredibly rude about it. We offered to pay, and then she said "Psh. Do you even have 85$ to stay here?" She called us squatters, insisted on staying 5 feet from our car with a flashlight in our faces and refused to step back. Kept threatening to call the police even though we agreed to leave within 5 minutes. We're not drug addicts or broke or going to cause any trouble or messes, we're just a disabled family that misunderstood the rules since there were no signs or anything that we saw. Daughter was sitting in the front seat and the staff was like "Shes too young to drive" are you kidding me? Gladly would have left or paid a reasonable price, but she was incredibly rude and really didn't need to talk to us like that at all.
This place is amazing. My family has been coming here for over 15 years and I've FINALLY got my own permanent spot up on the hill in the forest. My family loves this place, I love this place and all the friends that come visit tell me they want to get a spot up here too. I love it here!!!
It is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and the people who serve there are very friendly. This spring I will return with my family
A beautiful campground and friendly staff. The huge pond has baby ducks to watch and a short distance away is a boat launch to the Wisconsin River.
