Bathrooms were clean but the showers are horrible with hardly any water pressure and when tent camping it’s nice to have a good shower. When arriving to the tent site it looked to be a nice shady lot. This camp ground most not check their sites before people stay on them as we had to pick up several piles of dog poo and our picnic table bench was broken. All in all this was just a one day stop but probably wouldn’t choose to stay here in the future.

This campground could be so much more. The owner has 2 young women running the place and they do great for what they have to work with. The pool was closed several days while I was there. There are only 5 metered spots. So those who don’t have a meter pay roughly 300-500$ monthly more, just for electricity. Ya, the math doesn’t work. I have a small camper and bc there were very few meters for long term spots, I paid 1200$ a month and that was at end of season where very little electricity was used to begin with. The meters spots were 850$ a month. At first I was charged 1500$ a month. I was eventually told it was $1200 a month. The owner cares nothing about the campground. Mowing is sparse and very little amenities. He has got to be accountable for this. Either make all your spots metered or charge the same amount to everybody not pick and choose who gets charged what. And give your staff what they need to take care of the grounds. You do own a landscaping company afterall. Bottom line. If you are monthly and get 1 of the 5 meters spots you pay $850 and if no meter, $1200-$1500. Makes no sense. Hold him accountable

Decent enough for an overnight. Watch the "seasonal s", they seem rules like speed limits don't apply to them. Speed limit is 5 yet dong 15 to 20 is the norm so watch the kids. The dog park has LOTS of holes in the fencing at the bottom. If you have small dogs they might get out. Laundry room was great however. Pretty costly too.

We stayed three nights and three days! Wonderful experience! Full hookups. Cute little store and not far from Madison at all!! I thought that we would be parking on concrete slabs but it was all gravel so it was a wee bit muddy but still wonderful experience!

As RVers we spend six months in Wisconsin and six months n Arizona. Kiefer Madison Campground in DeForest Wisconsin is our campground of choice. It has a very friendly and helpful crew. This campground is very clean, well maintained and very peaceful. A great place to relax and have fun. It is very close to boating, fishing, golfing, sports, great restaurants, great shopping, and centrally located to a vast variety of wonderful statewide tourism/entertainment locations. Madison itself is rich with five lakes, great restaurants of all ethnics and food choices, great points of interest, and beautiful parks. I highly recommend that you consider this location for your next camping experience. It is set up for family fun.
