Crystal clear water. Nice large beach with food establishment under the pavilion at the beach. Several dive spots. Beautiful scenic overlook.
Where has this place been all my life?! One of the best Wisconsin beaches I’ve visited. The trails offer amazing views. The beach boasts changing facility, restrooms and a Cantina with burgers and dogs, ice cream and beer. The huge beach hugs an inlet, that , when filled with kiddos and inflatables, looks like a giant swimming pool.
Came here to go free diving for the first time. The water is really clear and felt almost as if I was in a swimming pool. The rocks piled on the banks are a fun place to watch sunset and maybe take a few photos. The only other part of the park I visited was the beach and it was a great place to go and relax after spending most of the day diving.
Clearest place to swim in the area. Pretty busy on the weekend, but still plenty of room to relax. There are trees for hanging hammocks, & plenty of spots for picnicking. The bathrooms are nice, and thankfully, have outlets on the outside for blowing up large inflatables if you have an electric pump. Overall a very nice, family friendly beach.
Grest spot to cool down in the summer. $5 for a day pass to swim, hike, and more. They have some great overlooks of the lake. It is great to grab a picnic table and enjoy the day in the sun. The lake doesn't allow huge motors, so you font have to worry about wakes when you are out on the water.
