The campground ⛺ is windy and 🔥 hot no matter day time or at night. The shower room and 🚻 restroom is far away from campsites. Due to the low lake water level and seaweed surrounding not possible for 🥽 swimming and tubing. But the camp host is nice. The management should think about building a swimming pool next to the shower room for visitors extended stay.

Well a decent enough spot but not the most picturesque campground you'll find. Definitely quiet. Bathrooms clean enough. Probably wouldn't go back.

Camped out for one night to test the place. Canyon lake is way down like 20 ft. .. No boat ramps and most camping areas are shut down... But had a good time all campers were friendly a d good people... Enjoyed a night camping, rode electric bikes to other areas shut down but ran into 10 bucks and like 30 doe... They enjoy the park and felt like a nature sanctuary...

Small, very nice campground.

Appears there's space for about 30 campers. Plenty of space between RV spots, we had 50 amp service, water. Bathrooms are very accessible, plenty of hot water, reasonably clean ( some toilet paper and other toiletry wrappings on the floors). All sites are near the lake, some have beneficial trees for shade, all have picnic table with shelters. Very family friendly, quiet. Definitely recommend. As of today's date, the lake level is 12 feet low (according to a local fisherman)

We have been camping here for years. The camp sites are spacious, the views are incredible and the park is maintained with the highest standards. The sites are always clean and free of debris when we set up camp, the bathrooms are spotless, the trash cans are always empty and the walking trail appears to be groomed on a regular basis. The volunteers that live out here clearly take pride in this campground as it is their home 24/7.

Of the many things we love about this park, the most beautiful sight is the majestic, snow white cats with sky blue eyes that have lived quietly and peacefully amongst the rocks for many years. Sadly, we spoke to one of the volunteers and he has told us on numerous occasions that "the cats should be eradicated". We have asked why when they are harmless and many of the campers enjoy their beauty and look forward to seeing them when they visit. He could not give us an answer as to why they should be eradicated, only that they should to be. We hope and pray that he does not move forward with a plan to do this. Aside from the fact that it would be illegal to "eradicate' them, we know it would upset many of the campers that have loved them through the years as we have.
