We had a great mothers day their . It was relaxed and fun . Clean and plenty of space available even though it was busy due to the holiday. We plan on spending alot of time visiting this summer! We LOVE inks lake! Tip is plan to arrive before 9 o clock and you cant rent spaces until 9 and there were quite a few folks there!
I have been living here at Inks Lake State Park for about six years now and under the management of Sharon Decet , I have been able to rent to own my own trailer. The park is very nice, the roads and lots have been upgraded and the maintenance people handle problems quickly. Sharon makes herself available if you have a problem or concern and will work with you. There is a laundry on site. I enjoy living here. I recommend it to anyone.
Rv park is very easy to access from 29. One con is getting into the park you have to call ahead so he can unlock a gate kn the backside of the campground for you to come. Sites are very tight to get into if your over 35ft don't stay here. Sites need lots of work the pads are un level the ground is dirt with weeds very little grass. Price for night is a little high with no amenities other than laundry. If your on the right side of the park you are very close to 29 so can be noisy at times. Manager is very personable and great to talk with. Great place to stay for the night but long term I would look for something else.
I had a nice month long stay recently and was greeted by Doug the manager who helped us get settled and made the booking seamless. I was able to stay in the newly developed section of the park. This park was reasonably priced and very peaceful and had easy access to a main road into town. We will definitely stay here again when visiting this beautiful hill country location surrounded by the best lakes in Texas.
The park is well managed . The manager Doug has installed lots of security cameras which are monitored 24hours a day which makes the park very safe & extremely quiet. The laundry room is well maintained and very clean.
