Welcome to KL Ranch Cliffside Campgrounds and River Outfitters located on River Road in New Braunfels, TX along the banks of the Guadalupe River! We have been family owned and operated for over 50 years and through three generations. We take pride in our excellent customer service and well maintained campground. At KL Ranch Cliffside you will enjoy an outdoor experience like no other. Here you can camp, tube, canoe, kayak, fish, picnic, or just enjoy an afternoon at the river! We also have a camp store on site that is sure to have anything you may need.
KL Ranch Cliffside offers camping to suit the needs of a beginner or a veteran camper! We can accommodate RV's, tents, campers, or just a sleeping bag under the stars. Whether you want to stay a day or a week, KL Ranch Cliffside is the perfect place to get away from the worries of everyday life and relax at the river. No trip to River Road is complete without a float down the Guadalupe River, check out our tube rental for more information.

Great place to go camping at. Quiet even though it was close to the major road. And had a few surprise visitors at night which included a bobcat and three raccoons. But don't let that scare you off.
First time I have gone camping in almost 20yrs, and KL helped make it a great time!! We unfortunately picked the hottest weekend to go and in the middle of a drought so the river was low and and as cool as usual. Our campsite was great, the regularly picked up our trash and drove by often (made me feel safe) Showers are lackluster but it’s camping 🤷🏼♀️ at least there is a shower! Bathrooms weren’t too dirty, just bugs and other stuff that naturally comes along with camping. Everyone around us was considerate, no loud music after 11 or loud people.
Wonderful place to stay! Site is located short walk directly in front of our site. Be warned, if you have T- mobile you will have limited cell & wifi. Full service camp located with laundry facilities!
DUST BOWL RV Park...don't need a wind to stir up dirt an dust...just people driving by or walking is enough for that! There are NO AMENITIES!!! If you bring your own river tubes to float down the river...You CAN NOT be dropped off...YOU MUST PAY $10.00 PER PERSON...And ride THIER shuttle!!! WE were 3 families...paid 2 RV, and 1 Tent...loaded up the truck to take tunes and adults an kids...10 total, we were "THREATENED " to be trespassed if they were dropped off. We will NEVER GO BACK!! Family members were from...Houston, Lake Jackson, and Austin, Texas. wasted weekend...
We have come to this campsite every year for the past 3 years (this year will be the 3rd). We love it so much we will continue to come here for our trips.
