Outstanding family campground!! Absolutely beautiful and very well maintained!!
Not only is this a beautiful campground, but the owners are AMAZING!! Tammy went above and beyond for our family!! She, basically, rearranged the whole campground, so we could stay at our site for a couple more weeks, as the person helping us move our RV wasn't available until then! Tammy will do anything for her camper's! She genuinely cares about your well being and safety!! Tammy and her husband are amazing people with hearts of gold! When you stay here, you feel like you're part of a big family!! Everyone is so, incredibly, friendly!! My family and I can't wait to stay here again!! We absolutely love this place and highly recommend!! We promise that you won't be disappointed!!
Level site with gravel, lots of trees for shade and privacy, friendly staff who escorted us to the site when we arrived, helpful neighbors when we were trying to get out, bathroom is beautiful wooden stalls looks brand new (no locks on doors - my only critique). So glad we found this little haven!
For newer campers, the road leading to the campground is very groovy. Don't arrive in the dark, it's not fun navigating while towing when you're less experienced like me 😬
We love Caton Place! The owners are amazing, kind, sweet, and incredibly helpful. Our 1st season, we knew nothing about camping, they were a great resource. 2023 will be our 3rd year as seasonal campers, and I can’t imagine being somewhere else, it’s our home away from home!
This is my third year at Caton Place Campground for a minimum of 1 mo. each time. I am extremely impressed with how well this property is kept by the 2 owners, Tammy and Gerry. Not only do the owners perform all jobs here but they do them all extremely well - from check in to lawn and site maintenance, to assistance w guests w problems on their own RVs. On top of that, the guests here all seem to have the same respect for Tammy and Gerry because there is respect for the rules and the property we share, as well as a genuine sense of neighborliness toward one another.
Tammy and Gerry are the best campground owners I’ve ever met and it’s evident at Caton Place Campground!
I emailed this Canton Place right before a busy 4th of July weekend! The lady who runs it got right back to me and said she had an available spot and I could book over the phone! She took all my info and was very pleasant! On arrival we checked in without issue again the lady was very pleasant the site was nice and private and we loved the fire pit! The only thing that bugged us a bit was the neighbors blaring their music til all hours even when they left their site! We were there for a short period so I didn’t want to complain! Campground had so many activities it was wonderful, and I interacted with the lady/owner multiple times and not once did she have an off day always smiling and personable and seeing how she could help make our stay better. I would book again in a heartbeat and just keep a lookout for the naughty neighbors if they moved in near us again to get ear plugs! Thank you for a wonderful family weekend!
