From the jct of US 85 & US 16: Go 2-1/2 mi W on US 16 (truck route).
We stayed in the RV /camping grounds and let me tell you just keep driving unless you are completely stranded like me and I think I would have rather stayed in my car at the gas station the camping grounds look like a dump sit with literally trash everywhere and it smells like one too . They are under construction which made it worse but worst of all the train is about 10 ft away 😔and for the price is terrible. Staff was very kind .
Temperature set at 50 when I got there. Didn't get to 70 until midnight. Slept in my clothes.
My friends and I camped here for a week in May 2023 to hunt turkey. The campground was as described. The bath house and laundry room were nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We saw quite a few travelers just passing through and staying for the night. We felt safe here. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.
I spent 4 night here in my rv. Owner is super sweet and easy going. The rv park is on a hill all gravel and a bit crowded. However the park rather empty, end of season, so I was able to spread out a bit. Full hook ups and a pull through site. If fully occupied maneuvering might be a bit challenging. Clean showers with lots of hot water. Nice laundry on site. For entertainment you can watch the friendly deer and wild turkey. I would definatly return!
We stayed here for a couple of weeks. Rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The biggest complaint I have is poor water pressure and Luke warm showers.
