Great campsite. Arrive early to get a campsite. We got there just before noon and got lucky that we were flagged down and told about an open lot by the previous occupant.
Reviews state they have firewood, but they don't. So bring that and/or charcoal for use in the fire pits.
Well water is available, but it needs to be boiled. No RV septic dump or potable water on site (from what we found), but there is a dump that has potable water about 11 miles away. Bring cash to pay for your site, it is honor system.
Road through the campground is rough, but drivable. We will definitely be back this summer and in the years following.
Off the beaten path. Difficult to find-roped off, burned down, signage misleading. Mosquitos were horrible. Camping spot wasn’t bad. No dump station as reported.
This was one of the best campgrounds I've been too. Large camp spaces perfect for an RV and each site has an area for a tent. Theres a neat trail that goes along the river you can walk down. Super quiet and peaceful. We'll be back next summer.
