Peaceful waves this time of year. Great for after family thanksgiving feast walk.
Loved the fishing, I just wish that the beach area near the parking lot had wind protection. The days we stayed I saw tons of tents flying away due to the vast open air flow I felt like even a small 3ft barrier around the look out dock down the beach would've made it even better. Beautiful scenery.
We were spectators at a gathering of Alaska residents that were dipnetting Sockeye Salmon. Fantastic experience. The campground is a paved parking lot which was adequate for primitive camping.
