It's a state owned parking lot by Deep Creek

Costs $5 per day or $20 over night to park while you fish in the river. No activities. Does have outhouse. Paid for by our taxes and we have to pay to use it.

Fun little spot! If you need a break from driving, just need to use the restroom, day trip, or fishing this is the spot! Beautiful view of Deep Creek, fireweed flowers, and all the Alaskan beauty. There is picnic tables and small bbq grills. There are trails and information boards. Bathrooms available and decent parking right off of the main road, so it’s super easy to access. My family and I stopped in here on our trip down from Kenai. We loved our little stroll through the area.
