This place is great for the day. There are several camping spots and a boat launch. The campsites are very close together. I can't imagine trying to have a small tent and family here with other campers. We visited for the day and it was great for our kids to play in the water. We did notice the camp attendant speaking harshly at others using the campsite. It is a beautiful spot to enjoy with some limitations.
Wonderful place, and the camps hosts are awesome. They keep the place really clean. BUT the people there are rude and loud. The people next to us had a dog who pooped EVERYWHERE, even on our camp site. Then they left with their fire burning!! The people who have boats and jet ski's also have NO REGARD for people swimming in the water, the drive inside the buoy among the people swimming. A lady with a jet ski literally parked in front of me as I was taking pictures of my family. Didn't even acknowledge thar I was there. Then when she was backing up she almost hit a little girl who was swimming behind her. I don't know why they allow the motor boats and jet skiers to drive amoung the families swimming extremely dangerous!!!!
The beach here is fine, smallish, sandy with some rocks bottom. Bathroom is close to swimming area. It's always been pretty busy when we are there, but my biggest complaint is the something like $7 you have to pay to park! And yes they enforce it closely. Camping spots are minimal, a little ways from the parking lot, but not far from swimming area. All have a fire ring and mist have a picnic table.
Ray was a real sweetheart. Site was clean, even the restrooms. Reasonable price.
