Great place to camp. Clean bathrooms and great water pressure in the shower. We had a site that overlooked the water. Across the street is the beach with a lifeguard. Easy to walk into town, a little less than a mile. Directions there were good until the very end into the campground when it took us through the wealthy residential area just before the campground entrance. That was a little odd, but easy to correct.

For RVs or tent camping. Love it as it sits right on green lake! Great vistas and wonderful park attendants. You will enjoy hot showers and toilet facilities. Easy walk downtown to quaint storefronts and 1st class dining. You can't go wrong with a stay Hattie Sherwood.

Every site with its own fire ring and wood onsite to burn, as well as your own picnic table.

We stayed off season (before school is out for the summer) and it was what we needed. Quiet, wood ready to purchase and a boat launch. There were only 3 other sites occupied so very low traffic. Only one other woman and I at the park so the bathrooms were clean but the sink leaked. I would stay again!

This reasonably priced campground is right next to Green Lake, which is across the street. Some sites view the lake- we were #4 and you can see our view in the photo. The bathroom facility is decent with free showers. Sites are pretty close together and can be tight to maneuver for bigger rigs because of trees. They are only big enough for a camper and 1 vehicle, extra vehicles will need to park down by road. Two vehicles might fit if you have a tent. There is a boat launch for your boat to get to Green Lake that costs $7 a day. You have to go under a bridge so a tall boat might not fit. No firewood can be brought in, but your better off buying their wood anyway, it's only $5 for a big tub of good wood. I wish they'd put directional arrows on the roads because they are only wide enough for one car and I saw many cars have to backup to allow another through.

We had to change our reservation last minute on a holiday weekend and they were able to accommodate us. Our site was unlevel, but that is part of the charm of this campground. Just be prepared for that. The lake area is beautiful. Showers were available.
