About Campground

WCRC is a [non-profit Christian retreat center and overnight Christian summer camp](https://www.wcrc.info/) perfect for youth groups, church retreats, small groups, family reunions, and other gatherings in Toano, Virginia. WCRC welcomes church groups, summer day camps, and couples marriage retreats to our facility for fun, team building, and a place to explore. Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center provides a place for the Holy Spirit to work in the lives of kids and adults through camping and retreats.

In the early 1980s, members of the area Mennonite churches became concerned with the spiritual needs of youth. They found that young people were often making their professions of faith at church camps, so they decided to build a camp facility in the Tidewater area of Virginia that would offer opportunities for young people to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their walk with God.

WCRC offers modern comfortable lodging, great food, and fun activities for day trips and overnight retreats. WCRC also has dedicated conference areas for groups needing their own space. Choose from group activities including [camping](https://www.wcrc.info/campground/), outdoor swimming, ropes courses, disc golf, an adventure sports center, and more.

In addition to our wonderful facilities, WCRC also offers outdoor activity organizers to help you plan your perfect retreat. From guest speakers and activities to lodging and food, we will help you plan out every aspect of your trip.

Absolutely an amazing place to stay! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful with safe and nice paths to walk. Very affordable. I would of tried to stay longer if it wasn't such a long ways from work.

We had my family reunion here. The rooms were so comfortable and clean. They accommodated us so well!! The meals were incredible. It is a beautiful place and so peaceful. We had a big room to have our family time and many memories were made there. Hoping to go back again!

This place is great! We went to family camp and had a great time. Camp had a relaxed pace with many recreation options. We got to try some things we don't normally get to do (high ropes, leap of faith) and also canoeing, kayaking, swimming, etc. The food was great but the best part was the staff members' friendliness and warmth. We stayed in Oakwood which has connecting rooms for larger families. Hope we can return.
