About Campground

Cove View Campground - 16 electric-water hookup sites

Up to six people per site. The only exception is for immediate families of no more than two adults over 18 and their minors, all of whom must be under 18.

Each campsite has a campfire-ring grill and an extended-top picnic table.

Firewood and ice are sold at the campground host site.

Two vehicles per campsite. There is additional parking by the bathhouse (an additional daily parking fee applies there).

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. through 6 a.m. Only overnight guests are allowed in the park after 10 p.m. Guests visiting campers should park in the bathhouse parking area.

EW - Electric and Water Hookup Sites (001 EW – 016 EW). Shaded and sunny sites are for tents, pop-ups and RVs up to 38 feet. Electrical service is 20 and 30-amp. All sites are gravel pull-through with a grassy area and have a campfire-ring grill and a picnic table. A bathhouse with hot showers is at the entrance of the campground loop.

Probably the cleanest state park we've ever camped in. The sites are pull through, but because it's an older camground, they're also relatively small. The Natural Tunnel is a must see sight.

One of two areas to camp in.

This is more open, as to lover's leap which has more enclosed campsites.

Both areas are very good.

Our annual church camping trip was wonderful at Cove View Campground! Great staff and the grounds are very well maintained. We enjoyed the tunnel and even had an impromptu baptism at the pool in the creek just past the old cabin!

Cove view is one of two campgrounds in Natural Tunnel State Park. Cove view has pull through sites, close to each other, each with a firepit and picnic table. Furnished yurts are available for rent along the edge of the campground with a view of the forest extending out from the ridge. Lover's leap campground is about 1/8 mile away; it has back-in sites that are more secluded and private though not completely so. Both campsites have a building that has showers and toilets.
