I have been coming there since I became an owner/member with my husband in 2007. It is a favorite family vacation spot for us. We always enjoyed the annual car show in June every year. And spent every wedding anniversary there for 9 years September 1st 2007 through 2016. Unfortunately we spent our anniversary in 2017 in the hospital. On the day before my husband passed away from cancer, he told one of his sisters and 2 of his nephews that as soon as he felt better we would be going to wilderness. Even after my husband passed away in 2017, I still love coming several times a year.

The stay there was great, the staff were wonderful. My only complaint is that the internet is not reliable. If you need to do business. Have a back up plan. If you needing to get away from technology then this is the right location. Also the camp is in a great location for history lovers. Several sites are near by. For people that like to shop there are plenty of locations also near by. We stayed in one of the cabins that are separated from each other.

Pretty darn good… it is in a nice surroundings and there’re many activities you could enjoy during your stay. Its hospitality is second to none… staff from this resort is trying to assist your concerns and your safety and your enjoyments while staying here. Great staff is pretty much near you when needed. Check out yourselves.

We visited the Wilderness Resort years ago in the summer and stayed in a trailer, which was nice. We visited again this year during the Christmas holiday. We were scheduled to stay in a cottage, which was a new addition since my last visit. The cottage was not going to be ready upon our arrival, so we were upgraded to a cabin at no additional charge. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and were happy to spend time with family, who were in a nearby cabin. My only issue was seeing a dirty kleenex behind the nightstand in the upstairs bedroom and having to sweep the floor and see toenail clippings. I would still visit again and would recommend this resort as a lovely and peaceful place to stay.

Wonderful cabin and people who run the grounds were very accommodating Lots of activities even for off season. Like the fact that they have security who patrol. Grounds were decorated for the holiday Very clean and the cabin had a dishwasher, washer/dryer, beautiful fireplace, grill/picnic table. About the only thing I would suggest is a coat hooks inside the door... Hope we can stay there again in the future!!
