Awesome place to camp, walk trails, and vacation at. Totally off the radar from other folks. I will be back!
Trails were confusing and not marked at all. The view was disappointing after reading the reviews for this. The flag is actually from a distance and unattainable and even if you zoom in with your camera, comes out grainy. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is the pictures taken with the woodbugger. Pretty disappointed!
Parking fills up quite quickly but rotates very fast. The Flag is displayed about 300 yards from the outlook, hard to see at time. However, the view is beautiful. Don’t forget to get a photo with Sasquatch. Dog and kid friendly with multiple intertwining hiking trails.
The trails are peaceful. The caves are impressive. There are many places to explore. The lookout itself gives an impressive view of Norton, VA below. An excellent spot to visit.
