We had a great experience staying in one of the small cabins at Wilderness Adventure! The scenery was beautiful and we felt so relaxed being there. We ate dinner and breakfast at the outpost during our stay and the food was delicious. We have also done tent camping there and I highly recommend both.

Amazing weekend with the #gwhva Adventure Summit. Caroline and her team were amazing. So kind, courteous, helpful and all around great people. Our group had an incredible time together, and it was made even better by the venue and property. Great hikes and views, good food, suitable lodging for that “rustic” feel. Thank you to the entire team!

My name is Josie McMillan, for my self , it's been over 25 years that I went to this camp, this camp was one of the best experiences from my youth. The challenges of camping, hiking, caving, white water rafting, kayaking, rock climbing.

All these experiences where detrimental in helping me over come fears, and personal weaknesses that as a child I possessed at that time. I learned to over come challenges and developed skills and resolve to help with everyday issue that we as adult encounter later in life. I would recommend this camp to any family, this is the camp to send your family and loved ones to. All of the instructor are well trained and prepared for any situation that could arise. The counselors over each group of campers are kind caring and offer excellent advice when helping campers over come fears and worries of accomplishing all activitys ,which will leave the adventurer with a greatest feeling of accomplishment. They will learn problem solving skills that will help them later in life. There no experience like the experience this camp offers to individuals that are looking for the greatest adventure in the blue ridge mountains. Wilderness adventure is the only place that anyone can get this experience. A experience that will last a life time.

This is basically our base camp for adventure. We absolutely love the vibe from the staff as well as the other guests. Laid back and fun is the order of the day and you can tell when you watch the stress leave your face. If your looking for a beautiful spot and a starry night this is it. Great place for the family or a get away with a special someone. If you would like to camp but don't feel like hauling food and a grill, the cuisine is first rate. Pancakes for breakfast and perhaps shrimp tacos by Juan for dinner. Unbelievable! Just call and make sure they are serving on your dates. Great staff, considerate guests, delicious food and the location is absolutely beautiful with a peace and love vibe. You may run across other guests from far away and that really says a lot about the experience offered. A true jewel of a place to spend time. Treat them well as they so deserve...

My buddy and I attended for a motorcycle rally. We stayed out in the Meadow campsites. Great campground! Very pretty; extremely quiet; nicely maintained. I do a fair bit of motorcycle camping and have camped from Virginia to Utah and back. This place has good amenities, and most impressively - the food was great! The woman who owns it (I did not get her name) was great. She and her workers really worked hard to make all that great food for our big group.
