This place was amazing!!! My wife and I visited right before the Christmas holiday. We got off to a rough start with the cleanliness of the first room assigned to us but the service desk was on top of their game. They made sure to get us a cleaned room swiftly and they showed true care with our concerns and complaints. They were patient and extremely professional. The room was outstanding for the cost. The space was very large and it felt more like a home and not a rental. Even though we didn't get a chance to partake in the events we were pleased at the amount of free and low cost events they had on the schedule for the holiday season. The indoor pool, hot tub, and gym looked very clean and spacious. It was very quiet and peaceful. The grounds were clean and the security upon entry was on point. You weren't getting in unless you had a parking pass no exceptions which made it feel really safe. The location is amazing we were only 10 minutes from Busch Gardens and Historic Williamsburg. We were even able to get some really great discounted tickets on both these tourist spots as well as dining as there were several restaurants near by. Although we didn't eat out much because of some bad weather we were delighted to have been able to get groceries to cook from Walmart and Target. This location was only about 15 mins from those stores as well. King's Creek is definitely on our revisiting list as my wife and I are already planning another vacation.

I do not recommend going here for a “presentation” due to VERY SHADY business practices! Long story short they made several offers to purchase but at 17.99% interest rate that almost double the sales price! When I know I can get 6.25% at the credit unions. After declining I was told to go upstairs and get my “gift”. Just for me to sit with another rep for hours of him talking, flirting with my mother and offering me a deal for 1 bedroom cottage at $4,900 with 55,000 points eoy and $100 down. I accept and fill out the paperwork which authorized my credit to be pulled. They charged my card the $100 and called me downstairs to do the closing. I get into the closing office and this rep begins to tell me that I’m getting a 3 bedroom estate with 23,000 point eoy and $1,130 maintenance fees. This is NOT what I agreed to! Now my credit has been pulled and my card charged; that’s not right! Maybe they are used to uneducated people of color or they think because you’ve been there 5 HOURS with them fast talking and smiling in your face but NO! I am educated, I wrote everything down! If they did it to me they will do it to others!! Do not go to listen to Paul, Katy, Dean or anyone else there!!!!!!

We went to this location, spent a weekend during which we were required to attend a presentation. We were lied to, they sold us a timeshare, after we told them we were not interested. The salesman insisted he owns properties here and we were not going to come out of pocket. If we had any questions we could call and they would answer any questions. When we called they did not return our calls or any questions. Be careful don’t trust the salespeople, they are liars to the teeth!! We spent thousands of dollars and then they didn’t want to work with us. We have purchased travel plans at other locations and they told us the truth. This was the first time we got scammed. They are good scammers. Be very careful if you chose to attend their sales presentations, when the presentation is done leave immediately!!

This place was close to every fun place we needed. They are very strict with towels and you should bring your own if you need extra. Don't leave anything behind because they kerp it or throw it away and lost and found is a joke. We brought new groceries for 8 hr trip home and left one bag with unopened crackers and muffins for the kids and we called soon as we realized less than an hr from checking out. They said at 1st they would look into it then after they claimed it wasn't found, I called for supervisor and they stated food items aren't lost and found items and would be discarded instead of jus letting me come back and get the bag. I've never experienced that at any resort or hotel. We stayed at the great wolf lodge for 3 days thereafter and next time, we would stay there for the entire trip. I wouldn't go bk after 3 days there all the fun we spend off the resort anyway.

So I went here for a time share opportunity. I found my stay pleasant but the facility is not exactly posh for a vacation resort. It was clean, nice, and had a kitchenette which will help out families that are on a budget. The unit also comes with a small washer and dryer. The setting reminds me of an apartment complex, that they bought and are marketing it as a resort. There are five pools in the area. One is indoors for colder months. There were some unruly children that bothered my wife at the pool. Overall the place is within 10 minutes of alot of the attractions.
