Pine Grove Campground is situated on 60 acres of large overgrowth of yellow pine trees. Located on the grounds are six ponds that serve as a sanctuary for different species of ducks, geese, swans, herons, egrets, shore birds, and wading birds. Acres of woodlands and pond areas surround the campground, abundant with bird life.
Laundry machines available on premises. There is a public boat ramp and crabbing dock within walking distance of the campground. You are only a few minutes away from town, shopping, and the National Seashore & Wildlife Refuge with miles of wild beach and nature trails, where the Chincoteague Ponies roam free.

We love our camper here. It's a quite campground and the neighbors are great. The kids love the ponies and llamas not to mention going around looking for peacocks. There is a small little pool for the hot days of summer. The only downfall is there isn't a lot of activities for the kids so if that's what you are looking for, this isn't the campground for you.
We are tent campers (because my wife is insane) and we love coming here. It has a real family feel to it.
Large spacious sites. Nice store and playground. Restroom and showers are very clean. The ladies at the desk are friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back.
This weekend was our first time staying here. It was very quiet and relaxing for a holiday weekend. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The campground wasn’t packed. There are two bathhouses. They are older, but always clean and function well. The campstore is a little outdated, but they have plenty of items you may need and gifts. The pool was crystal clear and a decent size. We had it to ourselves the majority of our stay. The sites are clean, but the grass was pretty high this weekend. Lots of shade. Our kids enjoyed the animals and waterfowl. We saw swans, peacocks, goats, ponies and ducks. There is a small playground for children. We usually stay at KOA, which is now a Jellystone park, but we really enjoyed our stay at Pine Grove and will be returning!
Love this little campground. Mosquitoes were a bit of a nuisance during the evening but that goes with the territory. Very affordable and very neat setting. This is our second year and we will for sure keep coming here.
