Very RUDE owners who seem to have little interest in hospitality. I was there to inquire about a room price, but was chased off after standing in the parking lot for a few minutes, only because no one was in the office during the middle of the day on a Wednesday afternoon. Poor choice IMO, I won't ever stay there after being treated like that.
I rented a space for my travel trailer the gentleman was very nice allowing my trailer even though it was not a 2005 or newer. I explained that we needed a place for about a year that we were going thru some rough times. After being here a week we have been asked to leave due to my 15 year old son taking cigarette butts out of the ashtray. I agree he should not have been doing that however after being in the hospitality industry myself for over 20 years I have never asked a guest to leave over something so miner nor without first making my guests aware of a problem giving them the opportunity to fix it. My family is already going thru some very hard times and having to move again over something so small well I just feel that management could have done a better job at handling the situation rather than posting a notice on my door without talking to me nor giving me the opportunity to talk to my son and fix the issue.
I stayed for one day and two nights to attend a convention in Bellingham. I made the right choice, the rate was affordable, the room was spotless and very cozy, the bed firm and comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet and has a small town feel. The manager was kind enough to check me despite arriving late at night. The drive to Bellingham is short and pleasant. The bar/grille across the street serves excellent Eggs Benedict. This will be my first choice next time.
Just plopped my RV here for an undetermined amount of time. Never lived in an RV for more than a get away, so “living in one” is new to me. I CANNOT say enough about the managers Micheal and Adam! They have not only been extremely kind, but also very helpful! They keep the grounds really nice and are always looking out for the residents. I wish it had sewer and 50 amp service, but I’d still take this lovely spot over that any day. And my dog loves it here!
About half vacancy in RV park, and i was told they didn't want anymore RV's and the one's there they are trying to get to leave. Hmm?
Then manager says no rooms available......they do not go by a waiting list....sounds discriminatory to me.
It also appears that the place is being let to go from any kind of maintenance,..i wonder what the owner(s) would say about that? What would they say about turning away paying customers when sites are open?
I wonder if owners would be looking for a new manager if they knew their property's condition,...it's curb appeal and lack of running their business at capacity.
Time for a change at Whispering Firs in Alger, WA!
