We had a lovely one night stay in their dog friendly cottage. Breakfast was outstanding. Our cottage was very large and had a Jacuzzi tub. The ground are quite nice as well. I’m not sure why people complain about their service because they’re a small family business. You need to read their cancellation policy. We had no issues and would stay there again. The town is super nice.
This place was perfect for our short stay to enjoy Langley with our two young daughters. It was very hard to find a place that allowed our little ones, but not only did they allow it, the place was perfect. The yard, the jacuzzi tub, the beds, the wet bar, it met all our needs, and was a very easy and beautiful walk to town. Jackie was SO friendly and welcoming. It was perfect.
Don’t book this place! This is a big scam! They would charge your credit card after with some breakfast fee or additional surcharges!
The owner never let us know they will be ADDTIONAL 90 dollars charge for an omelette! And when you book it, the website describes breakfast included!
Worst host ever
We had a wonderful stay at the Country Cottage of Langley. It was so close to the downtown core, which was lovely. We also thought our room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved getting to enjoy the fireplace while hearing the rain fall on the skylight. Very cozy! The breakfast was also very tasty and the room itself provided everything that we could have wanted or needed. We will certainly be interested in staying here again, and will recommend it to others who travel to the island.
I stayed at this property in early September of 2023. The location is excellent, especially the proximity (walking distance) to Langley amenities. The cottages are set in a lush, well-planned garden. The cottage I stayed in was extremely comfortable, featuring so many thoughtful details to help one feel at home. Breakfasts lived up to the excellent reviews, and it was very pleasant to have an outdoor seating area to enjoy breakfast in fine weather as well as the comfortable living area in the cottage if outdoors was not an option. The owners were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. I would happily stay here again.
