Awesome new management. Amanda is warm and outgoing but she keeps us to the rules which in turn keeps the park extremely pleasant at night.

We will go back

Amanda is an amazing human being and manager! She genuinely listens to residents and remembers you. She is straight forward on the rules and holds everyone accountable, makes sure you are taken care of. She is nearly always available, if there is a concern but never overbearing or nosey. I lived there for a few months and would have stayed for much longer, had circumstances not changed. I feel like I became a part of the neighborhood instead of just a passing traveler. That is all due to the way this park is run and the hard work of Larry and Amanda.

We stayed here for 6 months at this cozy & charming little private RV Park. Amanda the manager was always professional, super kind, and helpful during our time here. The RV Park is located on Lake Goodwin with beautiful water views. Great for swimming in the summer. We would definitely come and visit again.

I did have one concern (why only 4 stars) that will hopefully be addressed in the future. It was very challenging being a dog owner here. I was charged a $35 per month pet fee while there were no amenities available for your pets except for all the "No Pets Allowed" signs posted everywhere. The few patches of grass that we were allowed to take our dog on I never took my dog to because it was challenging to not step in dog poop from disrespecful residents/guests that choose to not pick up after their dogs. Perhaps in the future some of that pet fee that seems to go only to no pets allowed signs, could at least provide a poop bag station for the residents whom are responsible dog owners like myself. Very frustrating for sure not seeing that pet fee used for anything that I could see. I am aware that this might be addressed in the future. Fingers crossed.

Amanda and Larry have been amazing! Loved my stay, felt safe, incredible lake views and access. They just had a beautiful holiday dinner for the community with a gift exchange! Such a great environment highly recommend the park for short term or long term stay. Laundry on site, nice community room and a fitness center.

I am a travel nurse and stayed here for 5 months over the summer and fall of 2023. We loved our time here! The park is very well kept, there is direct access to Lake Goodwin, and the managers are awesome. Amanda and Larry are kind, helpful, and always available for whatever you need. The park is quiet, has gated access, and has a community room, laundry room, and bathroom.

Whether you're a traveling healthcare worker or just looking for a short stay, I’d definitely recommend this rv park!
