First of many trips to Skagit. Big thank you to Terry, the camp host and my fellow Canadians who gave me eggs. Ours were confiscated at the border. Lol

Amazing experience from beginning to end!!! Just be aware that getting out of the parking lot after the races is not unlike that after a concert at Blossom Music Center (took me about 45 minutes to leave the parking lot), also wear glasses since dirt will fly in your eyes from the 700-1000 horsepower sprint cars, but other than that, this is by far the best speedway I've been to in Washington. Fireworks rocked too

Skagit Speedway is a great place to go to have an action packed evening. The food is a bit pricey but very good. You have to try the cheese curds they are sooo good. Many food choices. I would recommend that you bring a bleacher chair.

We had a fun visit to watch Tough Trucks (beaters) doing timed trials around the track, and three set piece Monster Truck shows. Bonus was a car eating, fire breathing robot dragon.

Big crowd, lots of atmosphere, and very good natured. Fun family event
