Turn left off Forest Road 39 to Forest Road 3960 and go 9 miles to the end of the road to the campground; Campground entrance is across the Imnaha River bridge.
Great place to get away.. LONG WINDY road to the camp ground.. the bathrooms smelt so bad we would get sick if we went in them.. we got a great place right on the creek and it was Enjoyable
What's happening to Oregon is a shame.
Yes, this is a beautiful hike, but I was assaulted on the trail by a guy who seemed to be suffering from "roid rage". I believe his party is still in the area as of this posting.
Avoid!!!!
Beautiful, the blue hole is great to jump off the rocks into. Water is cold but not too cold. And all along the Imnaha river you can see to the bottom always. Beautiful crazy designs and cors in the rocks is awesome. the hikes were beautiful. Camping is only 6 dollars a night when we went in August 2020 and it gets warm, even hot during the peak of day, but down to 40s at night. The stars are beautiful and numerous are visible with no light pollution.
