We could not have been happier with our stay at Log House RV Park and Campground. The grounds are beautiful, the bathrooms are sparkling clean, as are the laundry and shower facilities. The host, Todd, is truly the best- we were out exploring the area when a rain storm came through and he actually took the time to cover the items that we had left on the picnic table with a tarp. We have traveled cross country and this is the friendliest campground yet!
The views are awsome. The spaces are good, wide, nice yard area. The owner is very personable and accommodating . BUT!!! OH, THE DUST!!!!! Almost unbearable. If he would only pave the access roads , this would be our go to park in paradise.
A nice place to stay just outside of Enterprise, OR. They have RV and trailer sites with pull-through and back in campsites and full hookups. Nice restrooms with good fixtures. Showers on side of laundry room are free for those staying there. They have 2 or 3 canvas platform tents that sleep two or five people. They also have a suite with kitchen available. Got a tent? You can camp here on ice grassy sites. Reasonable prices. Close to town. Make a reservation!
We stayed here as a group during Memorial Day Weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the campground. There are separate bathrooms to shower rooms and a coin op washer and dryer. We stayed in the Shabin and it was clean and spacious. The host was friendly and helpful. The only negative was that our site was directly below powelines so we could often hear the thrumming/buzzing from that. A positive to that site though, we were close enough to the fairgrounds to hear the live music playing! It's about a 15+ minute drive to Wallowa Lake.
Good 'home base' for anyone visiting the area - just outside Enterprise, OR and easily accessed. Functional facilities and kind, informative owner/operator. Nearly at capacity during my stay but was still quiet and enjoyable - glamping tents look like a nice option! Plenty of quail and a few town deer running amok to keep you entertained as well!
