The Irondyke Forest Camp is a small rustic facility along the Wild and Scenic Lostine River. Situated near the river in the cool pine and fir trees, the site is popular for summer and fall campers enjoying Hells Canyon or adjacent Eagle Cap Wilderness.
From Enterprise, Oregon travel west on Highway 82 for 10 miles to Lostine, Oregon; In Lostine turn left at Lostine River Road and go 7 miles; The Lostine River Road turns into Forest Road 8210 at Forest Boundary; Continue 7.5 miles on Forest Road 8210 to Forest Camp entrance on right side of road.
Single unit campsites = $10.00/night; fee station available at the campground.
Beautiful and quiet, easy to get to even in small vehicles and trailer. You do have to drive kind of carefully as the road gets fairly narrow and steep
