Went camping here with my family in late May. The camping site was big enough for two tents, a camper and a place for our volleyball net. Such a beautiful area! Camped here once as a kid many years ago and it’s still a great area! Wild life (gophers, chip munks, etc) are nice to have around your campsite as well. Lake is always gorgeous as is. There was plenty of trees too so we could have our dogs tied up as well. There’s the go carts, mini golf course, and gift shops and everything close but as well. The lake is just a short walk. Great prices! Can’t wait to go back!

Great place to escape to. The lake has many options for rentals and swimming area. There are some great hikes, highly recommend going to BC falls. The amenities at the State Park are more than adequate and fantastic.

Had a short stay at this cool little State Park snuggled up to a small range of cool mountains. I can imagine that the locals, who are avid mountain climbers, really get out and adventure through the range.

Managed to get out and see some cool scenes, lots of diving ducks, bald eagles, osprey, the Aurora Borealis on one night and some cool landscapes.

Aurora Borealis was captured on my Iphone Long exposure 30 seconds.

Beautiful place. Lots of hiking in area. Picnic areas, boating and more. Boat ramp at park, can fish or just enjoy scenery. There is at times lots of snow in area so be sure to check locally. Some photos are from north end of lake. Have a great time.

Great park. Fun to see wildlife in the park. We have seen the typical deer and ground squirrel but also fox. Visiting is always nice, close enough to walk into the little town and Joseph is not too far to drive for a special meal. The marina is an option to keep a boat when camping instead of crowding the campsite. Win, win.
