In June 2020 I did a photography-birthday-trip to Wallowa and decided to do all the overnights here! Have to say was not disappointed at all! The views are very cool! Rooms clean and nice! Pricing was very reasonable for the place you get! Just a few min. drive to Joseph! Also at that time the pictures of the rooms were not that nice in their website so as a photographer I did some nice shots of them which I'm attaching here (now they put some of my shots in the website! :)) Scott (the owner) was very friendly, we had some nice conversations. He is very caring about his business! Overall definitely recommended place!

Had a wonderful stay with my husband in the 'Deer and Elk' room. The manager, Scott, was very friendly and nice our entire stay. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The amenities were very nice- there were paper cups, paper plates, and paper bowls in one of the drawers including coffee and cream and sugar which you never find, even in nice hotels. The bathroom was clean and tidy. My only complaint is the pillows... They were past their prime and need to be retired to say the least haha. Other than that, the stay was very nice and the views were absolutely stunning. Highly recommend if you're staying in the Wallowas for a night or two!

We booked, sight (site) unseen, for a late September RV excursion to Joseph, OR. We found Scott, the owner, out in the RV section of the property, picking up small, leafy branches shed by the huge cottonwoods that dotted the site that were cascading to the ground in the sudden, intermittent and impressively brisk fall breezes. Scott spoke to us of the establishment and the area as he checked us in. "You've got a great site," he assured us. "Off in the corner and away from everyone." Our site was adjacent to one of four large and pristine teepees in the park that were available for rent. As we backed into the generous site, Kathy appeared to greet us, identifying herself as the "housekeeper" and chief recycler. "Save your glass and plastic bottles and cans for me and don't crush them." Kathy had come to straighten up the teepee on the site next to ours, the most recent resident of which had left a bit earlier. Kathy gave us a tour the teepee and spoke of the woman who had painted them, marveling at their artistry. Kathy also mention the various cats that hunted the complex, all of which she had befriended.

Traffic was light at the time of our stay and we were thrilled to discover that our campsite was adjacent to the irrigation canal that served the site, running at a high volume that provided the calming sound of gurgling springs. The RV park was quiet, immaculately kept and charming. The restrooms clean and quite serviceable. Our visit to the area was most successful and, when we return for a longer stay, we will be guests of Scott again.

Pleasantly surprised by this cute motel! Our friends stayed in one of the on property teepee's while we opted for an air conditioned motel room. Both were great! All immensities are clean and neat. Scott, the owner, is constantly out and about working on the property - it shows that he loves and cares for this place immensely. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful sunset views! 😍
