A cool way to spend a day. They have literally anything you could think of, all of the vendors we met were very kind! Parking is crazy. But I’d recommend getting there as early as possible.
Parking is $5 - yes, they accept CC. They sell puppies (which I love) birds, bunnies, and gerbils. Wish I could purchase all the puppies. There are a lot more Mexican religious items than before, which I love; especially the handmade thread bracelets, colorful dishes, and decorative items. A lot of repetitive stands selling the same stuff, still a good time to enjoy what you see and walk around. We sat at the stage area they had a great DJ, I wanted to dance but my stomach was hungry 😁 - Shop, eat, play, drink, dance, ride roller coasters, and walk! We had a Pork Machete, Lemonade, Corn in a cup and a fruit cup.
Good place to go for first-time. I expected more of a variety; many of the vendors sold the same to simular items. It still had a wide variety of things. Over all, these type of places are what you make them and dependent on what you are looking for or what you are willing to spend. Don't be afraid to hagle with vendors over prices (some will get you to buy there stuff which some are over priced. Use your smart technology devices to compare prices and you will see). 😉 Btw parking is five dollars...
I love this place an so does my daughter lol but in the summer it’s very hot an in the winter it’s very cold but a lot of vendors an cheap shopping for a lot of items you may need an also rides to go on in the park a few different ones food an drinks good fair food and much more.
Large outdoor flea market. Some areas are covered for those rainy or hot texas weather days but mainly uncovered environment. Lots to see and eat. You can find any thing your looking for. I was looking for two pairs of distinct boots. Thought I would never find them but was pleasantly surprised. Since I was born and raised here in the lone star state, of Hispanic decent I'm considered a proud tejano( Texas Mexican). Therefore I am blessed with two cultures. American and Mexican. I am literally the only one who could wear a pair of boots to show my identity. Think about it when you see the boots!
