Been approved twice to move in . It's a beautiful shady spot to live . Like most RV parks trailers are always to close and parking sucks for two vehicles. But the people are friendly, and they have nice amenities. No pool. Maybe some day we can actually live there. For now I still would recommend them.
We wanted to stay as close to Childrens Medical Center as we could since our granddaughter was there. This park was so accommodating! I called and they had an opening! Most of the lots are pull throughs too! Since we have a big rig (45 ft) this is important. The lady at the front desk was so kind and was quite concerned about or granddaughter. She asked about her every time I went to the office. In fact so was every one! We didnt know how many people were going to stay with us since this was a last minute trip, again they were so accommodating!
We had an accident when my mom left. she ran over the electric box on the next lot. It was fixed the next day!
We felt very safe and welcomed.
The park grounds were spotless.
If you are looking for alot of amenities, this might not be the place for you.
If you are looking for a budget friendly, quite, well kept park with mostly full time people and super caring staff, this park IS for you.
Do not stay here... especially if you're a dog owner! We stayed here for a week because we were in town visiting family and sightseeing and everywhere else I looked was full. The second night we were there, we had gone out and left our dog and cat in our camper. We got a call that evening that we needed to come back immediately and get control of our animals because they were running loose. When we arrived back at the campground, nobody could tell us what happened, only that somehow our animals had escaped. The screen door had been busted in addition to the screen on the window and the window unit has been pushed open. A police officer and a resident of the campground greeted us as soon as we pulled up and started giving their apologies. They never said what happened or gave any answers at all. The resident said she put our cat back inside our camper and closed the door. The officer said she saw our dog run out of the campground, scared. (Our dog was always friendly towards people.) Minutes after I shared a picture of him so she could help find him, she had found him on the side of the road. He had been hit by a car less than a mile from the campground. Though we were offered numerous condolences, we were never offered an explanation or an offer to help figure out what happened. The place as a whole was pretty dirty as well. I cannot recommend this campground to anyone.
The woman at the counter lives on the property and is a nosy neighbor who kicks ppl out for no reason. Total con artist. Im assuming its bc she can double book and make twice the money. We left on our own recognizance bc of how rude she was and the discomfort of knowing she cankick us out for any reason, logical or not. Stay here if you like walking on egg shells and being treated like a felon, and under constant threat. And to that counter lady; if you are going to be the business owner or the "boss" always remember that even the boss has a boss, and that boss is the customer.
Don't stay here. They will take your money and find a reason to kick you out. They made it cery clear to me when i checked in, they can kick us out for any reason with no refund. They know how to turn any thing into an issue and will threaten to call police on you to have you removed. Very rude people. No customer service ethics.
