Super easy to book, and they follow up with an information email the day before. Organized packet once you arrive. Big pull through full hook up sites with close easy access on and off the highway. This isn't a "destination" spot but it's a perfect overnight pit stop.
Person answering phone did not know what exit number to give us. She also wasn’t clear on instructions to get into park. We ended up using google maps and found it. Our site wasn’t level. Lots of pot holes and narrow roads to navigate. Sites not super clean. Some trash found in our site. Noisy as freeway right next to park.
We spent only 1 night at Lions RV park in Tyler. TX. Small operation but it was clean and the staff was very helpful. Most of their sites were full timers but they had 2 open for transients. Very nice “dog park” which was actually a several acre fenced area with a nice lake, trees and neighbor's cows! We loved being able to walk around and let Lucy off her leash. She ran until she was exhausted. Also, excellent BBQ in the area.
Absolutely love this place so far. Very clean and spacious sites. Laundry room and shower areas are spotless. The staff that I've met so far are super friendly and treat you like family. Very dog friendly. I wish all the RV parks were this nice!
