Great place to bring the family. Fishing, boating, camping or just a day trip to enjoy the beautiful views

Park isn't well "kept" based on other local lake parks available within same distance.

No real "beaches", no control over attendees, no real rules followed to allow it to me Family Friendly

Nice place to hang out and relax, good place to pull right up to the water and pop up a tent, firepits near, power access available close to the water as well

I had the pleasure of visiting the park to catch the Perseid meteor shower around 5 AM. Despite some light from the nearby city and streets, the darkness was sufficient to spot a few meteors. The park itself was well-maintained and peaceful. Interestingly, only three other groups were present, busily preparing their boats for a water outing. The atmosphere was calm, and everyone seemed to respect each other's space. Overall, it was a delightful experience that combined the magic of meteor-watching with the tranquility of the park.
