14145 US Hwy 287 N, Wichita Falls, TX 76310
We’re located southeast of Wichita Falls, approximately ¼ mile out of the city limits. Coming from Wichita Falls on Highway 287, take the Stephens Ranch Rd exit (3 miles past the water park). If you are coming from Ft. Worth on Hwy 287, exit at Fisher Road. Turn left to go over the bridge and get back onto Hwy 287 traveling South then take the Stephens Ranch Rd exit.
Bailey you were so helpful and I really appreciate your hard work. If she was present she was helping .we leaned on the staff and they held strong.every question she was there and knew the answer and actually helped.the buck stops with bailey.she knows the place backwards and forwards .
Maria in the store thank you so much we misplaced a bag thankfuly the store had everything and Maria smiled and took us to everything I asked for. Thank you so much.she will honestly do her best or point you in the right direction .exactly how I like my general store experience . What a relief .
I’d give 2.5 stars if that was an option. We stayed 1 month, here’s my observation. We have a Polaris ranger that is just like a golf cart. 90% of rv parks we go to allow us to drive it around, to and from dumpster, office, etc. You used to be able to do that here, but they stopped allowing it due to people speeding. What about speeding in my car? Are you going to not allow cars? The crazy thing is, they rent out their own golf carts that you can drive. I have definitely seen people speeding in those… I have also seen some other people driving their personal carts after the office closes at night, so I’m kind of confused there. seems to be more about making money to me.
School was in session while we stayed here, so the new water park was closed except for some weird hours on the weekend. What about families that home school, or kids younger than school age?
The playground was kind of janky. My 2 year old fell through the steps cutting her leg. I told a maintenance man and they said they’ll fix it. It’s been over a week and it’s still broken.
They have hay rides that my 2 year old would have LOVED, but every time we asked when they were, nobody knew… We asked the driver once and he said they weren't doing them anymore, but we would see them driving around all the time, but never got to do it.
This place could EASILY be the best rv park in town with some minor adjustments.
Went again this year ...last year we had a LOT of fun...this year we just had some fun. Most everything was shut down due to construction/expansion. I was informed that they are almost done with everything, but due to recent severe weather, the power company hasn't been by to reconnect power to everything. This was on August 19, 2023. Another change since last year: The arcade was expanded, but is no longer free. The only things really open to do are two pools, the laundry room, and the activity room. The board game selection is really weak. The plus size Jenga game was a lot of fun. I think that once they get everything fixed and properly working, (hopefully by mid September 2023) it should be a great experience.
We stayed here for the first time last Thanksgiving, it was fun but the service was mediocre at best. We had to basically handle all the activities ourselves. This year was a total 180. We had an amazing experience and it was largely due to Ms. Bailey. This young lady takes great pride in her work and made our experience this year so much fun! I feel the other lady that was working the store could have given more effort, most times there I had to go find her in the office and anytime I asked for help she told me I had to go find another director, seems to me she would help get the services for me, but this was minor. To be honest I see Bailey running this place in the next few short years to come. My family and I are already looking forward to next year. Seems this is going to be our new Thanksgiving tradition!
We really enjoyed our long term stay at the Wichita Falls Jellystone. We were in the area for work and are so glad that we chose this campground. This park is very quiet, safe and clean. The amenities for children are great and there is something for them to do year round. The views of the sunrise and sunsets are exceptional at this campground because it sits on a hill.
All of the staff were great! The front office staff was always very friendly and helpful if we had any questions or concerns.
The girl that handles the children's activities was very nice and patient with the children.
The maintenance/grounds and cleaning crew take great care of this place. It is a big property so shout out to those guys and gals.
My 8 year old son made some great friends that he will truly miss. We were all a little sad to leave because we met so many nice people. If we ever make it back to Wichita Falls we will surely be staying here!
