I have been a loyal customer of the Texan tv ranch for 11 years. My job and my children’s national dance competition brings us down here every year for a week in June. They’ve always been so kind to make accommodations if I need to move a date up or down, leave keys on a Sunday when the office isn’t open, and countless other acts of kindness. We’ve always loved our time with the ranch! Rules have changed here and there and now they require full payment for booking. So a year in advance I paid for an entire week with no obvious knowledge of what the next year would come other than we would be coming for that week. Now out of my control I am currently fighting for my life against breast cancer and also found that we would not be having nationals near the rv ranch. The front desk lady refuses to return any of my money or to move my dates to 2025 in hopes that we will be back the next year. All she does is to apologize for my circumstances but says she cannot help me because I made this choice to not purchase a new trip pro protection that she claims I did not pay for. I asked for documentation showing I signed to acknowledged that I would not be allowed to do anything but lose money if I could not come during the dates givin. All that has been sent to me is a new booking confirmation with a now highlighted area with this new rule of cancellation and the trip pro protection with no date or signature showing that this was acknowledged rather than looking like just now added information. I have no previous email other than a receipt for my payment. Seriously disappointed in a place I’ve been so loyal to for so many years. It’s sad to see how an establishment would rather just take money from its loyal customers rather than attempting to make it work in some way or another!

Sad to say we will not be returning to Texan Rv Ranch. We have been going here every June since 2016, very summer we attend a national dance competition in that area and have stayed at the park with little to no issues. Unfortunately without notice our competition has moved. We just learned of the new location and have several other dance families who stayed at the park as well. The park manager is sadly not being helpful with the refund or transfer of funds to one of our families. This new “trip pro” they have is something not all families were aware of.

We enjoyed many years at this location but will not be returning due to lack of compassion and understanding by the current management.. Sad to see what you are willing to do to a mother battling breast cancer who has been a loyal customer for years!!!

Our plan was to stay 1 month, but that turned into 2 years. The park is nice, clean and well designed. We enjoyed the gated dog areas, swimming pool, and walking throughout the park.

But for us, the best feature was Becky and Nevin(Nate haha), staff. They were always pleasant and very friendly. Willing to answer any questions and assist whenever needed. They are definitely a positive reason to stay.

Staff is great and the overall vibe of the park is friendly and inviting with nothing "sketch" that would make me feel uncomfortable staying here. The location is close to the highway and easy to access most of DFW. Cell service is a bit weak, but was good enough for us to get by using Verizon and 2 T-mobile lines without having to hook up our Starlink. It's not good enough however, for me to consider coming back. We will be looking for a park with either better cell coverage, or better campground wifi, as the wifi here is pretty unusable for video calls during work. The sites are fairly level and well maintained, however you are looking out of your window directly at the wall of another trailer as they have them crammed in pretty tight, and two units share a power pole/sewer by pulling into the spots in alternating directions. If they had made them into a "V" shape, it could have made us not feel quite so cramped, but this is not a place I would choose to hangout outside of my unit simply due to space, lack of grass, and all the gravel. The sites have no concrete, either for the pad or for the porch. No fire rings either. The store is FANTASTIC. Full blown convenience store, and the staff is great about getting things delivered. Dog park is nice considering all the gravel, but it's too small to throw the ball, and our Pups had nowhere to get their energy out. We camped at Texan RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Texan RV Ranch is located on Lone Star Road right before or after you hit Chambers rd in Southeast Mansfield, TX, offering one of the best campgrounds for your RV in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.

They offer a fully stocked convenience store with snacks, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. They have clean and private bath houses. Laundry rooms, a swimming pool, and also on-site propane. Personally, one of my favorite things about this place is the drinking water they have. It's a five stage filtration system that dispenses water by the gallon. I usually come here to fill up my 18 gallons of water bi-weekly, and I never had an issue paying with credit cards or cash and coins. The water tastes clean and crisp, and the pump dispenses fast. They also sell ice here as well.

The customer service is great and friendly, and I'm always greeted when arriving. This is a must stop for your gallon of water needs, and it's especially convenient when living in the surrounding neighborhoods.
