About Campground

If you wish to camp along the trail keep in mind there are wilderness camps scattered throughout but you must carry in your sup- plies (water, food, fire wood, etc.). If you’re not up for roughing it in the woods there are also recreational areas that provide run- ning water and bath-houses.

Great trail for a day hike. Not sure if it's ok to filter water from the lake, but no usable water sources this time

This trail begins in Cross Timers trailhead parking lot area and winds west along shoreline approximately 15 miles long and finish at the Paw Paw Creek Resorts. You can hike little and come back or hike all the way. The trail is well marked and wilderness camp sites are available if you want to. It is an easy trail with moderate degree of difficulty.

A great scenic hike. The trail twists and turns, climbs and descends under magnificent foliage. Lots of wonderful views of Lake Texoma. And don't miss the unmapped trail through the Enchanted Forest. A great cardio workout.
