About Campground

Pitch your tent and enjoy our natural camping areas. Two tent areas allow for a choice between rustic camping or camping with 120v plugins.

Bluebonnet offers clean, attractive and shaded RV sites that are level and have individual patios. Each site has full hook-ups and is close to the dining hall, restrooms and showers. In addition, all other amenities are within easy walking distance.

This groovy green trailer comes with a queen-sized bed, a twin-sized bed and a comfy futon for sleeping. A large sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker is also available. Relax on the beautiful, shaded deck, perfect for a morning cup of coffee. This trailer backs right up to our shaded hiking trails.

Loved every day and minute there. We didn't want to leave. We love everyone that we met. Got to get back quick. Finally was able to get back out there this memorial day weekend. But what use to be a friendly place turned out not to be anymore. Was having a good time..when some man suddenly told me that I would have to leave or he would call the police. No explanation at all? I just left...will not ever go back again..Promise

It was a first time experience for my husband and myself. When he told me he wanted to try this, I was surprised that there was a place like that here in Texas, especially near Fort Worth.

I agreed to go with him because I could tell it was important to him, and I wanted to be supportive.

I did not originally plan to get naked myself, but everyone was so polite and made us feel so safe that I eventually participated.

My husband and I enjoyed the pool and walked the nature trail.

The best parts for me were definitely the hot tub and sun bathing.

My husband and I had to leave after 2 hours to head home, but we both found ourselves not wanting to leave.

The experience definitely relaxed and recharged us both, and brought us closer as a couple.

I would definitely recommend everyone try this at least once.

Front office staff was extremely friendly and inviting. Introduced us to all the regulars and showed us the facility. Everyone was very nice and respectful. Amenities were nice and it wasn't crowded. Have a good conversation or go solo. All walks of life welcome. Great experience for those who want to be closer to each other and feel free from things that bind you every day. Hot tub was super fun with the bubbles. Showers were very close and convenient. Nice indoor place to eat and not be in the sun. Like that you have camping options and people are sad that you leave and want to you to stay longer. We will be back for sure whenever need to let loose again and we will know more next time.

Bluebonnet nudist park is our favorite nudist resort in the DFW area, just a 40 minute drive north of the metroplex. We have been visiting a few times each year since 2016. Bluebonnet is however definitely more of a campground compared to to true resorts like those outside of the US, or in Florida and California. Most of the people who you will meet are the full-time members and residents of Bluebonnet. We have seen visitors of all ages from families with children, to young adults, to older adults. The busiest days are definitely Saturdays and Sundays during the warmer months, holiday weekends, and special event weekends. On weekdays and slower weekends we have at times had the amenities all to ourselves. For a smaller nudist resort, Bluebonnet certainly does have plenty of amenities for an enjoyable day or weekend. There are 2 pools, a covered and screened-in hot tub (our favorite spot), a recently rebuilt sauna, a cozy clubhouse, tennis courts, and walking trails. There are also ample amounts of both sunny spots and shady spots. The only negatives would be that it can be at times difficult to reach the main office since it is not staffed at all times which on arrival can be tricky since you need to call when you are at the gate to be let in but the cellular reception isn’t the best at the entrance. Other than that unfortunately there is no restaurant, snack bar, or bar. However you are welcome to BYOB and food. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful!
