My husband and I just came for our 12th anniversary and this place was exactly what we wanted. Nancy and Randy were very nice and accommodating in every way. We stayed in the glamping tent and it was very comfortable. We bought our own kayaks and the tube place down river brought us and our kayaks back for a small fee. We will absolutely be staying here again.
We just loved the cozy “Hide Away” cabin! So nice, private and peaceful! The managers went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable & enjoyable!! Highly recommend!! We will be back!!
This was our second time staying here. They have 4 or 5 camp sites along the river and a bunch throughout the woods. It’s so nice and relaxing. You can sit and watch the tubers or fish in the river. The showers were clean. They had a blow up water slide. Nothing fancy but a really great place to enjoy the outdoors.
The perfect fall break at The Retreat! We stayed in the Hide Away Cabin and had a great view of the river! We really enjoyed the campfire area right outside the cabin. My daughter had a blast at the playground area! Nancy and Randy went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed! We will definitely be back!
Nice little RV park on the river. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Bathrooms are small but some of the cleanest I have seen on the road. Small camp store with snacks and firewood. Lots of fun activities for kids. The back porch area is a cool spot. It has lots of seating, a big gas grill and a big flat top grill you can use. One of the coolest things here... the trees light up at night. Gives it some nice ambience and makes the walk to the bathroom easier. Wish we could have stayed longer, but the journey must continue.
