From Selma, AL, follow US 41 south for 9 miles, turn right on CR 139 and follow the signs into the campground.
Lovely campground next to the Alabama River. Three different loops to choose from. Could use a bit more care, especially the facilities, but nice, large campsites with metal picnic tables, water spigot and electric hook-ups.
As a volunteer at Six Mile Creek Park we must brag some on it, campers traveling and local say our park is very clean and they really enjoy staying. Park open for summer months only. Wish that would Change for our returning campers. Stay here when you can. We love seeing and meeting new campers and our regulars. Nancy McDonald.
We were here for my wifes cousins birthday party. He turned 5 and we had the best time! The bathrooms were clean and the grounds were litter free! We had our 7 month old son with us and we played on the playground and he had the best time...only suggestion I have is to put a baby swing or 2 out there for the smaller babies. We swung with him in our laps but I think he would have had an even better time if he was sitting and we pushed him.
It's a nice camp ground with showers, bathrooms, laundry room and playgrounds. The lots are maintained but not perfect. There is no docks on any of the lost and hard access to you boat if you feel like pulling it up on land. Although the campground is nice it could use keeping up a little better. There is no cellphone service at this park.
